Pop-up Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga

Pop-up classes may be taught at other local studios or health fitness facilities. Please check the Events Calendar for details. Vinyasa flow classes are an opportunity for linking breath to movement in postures that strengthen and stretch muscles that support the body’s skeleton. Vinyasa classes offered include Gentle Flow, Holy Praise and Chair Yoga. While a Vinyasa flow focuses on increasing strength and flexibility, Yin yoga’s focus is on strengthening joints, ligaments and fascia through long holds of a pose. Restorative yoga uses prop tools like blankets, bolsters, chairs, blocks and straps to support your body in a pose allowing you to experience deep relaxation. Restorative is a restful practice, so you might want to bring an eye pillow to promote deep relaxation.

A private 60 minute class is $65.

Drop in 60 minute class at the Active Lifestyles Fitness Studio are $15 per session.
